Matthew Best, a former member of the King's College Choir in Cambridge, England, founded the Corydon Singers with the aim of creating a choir that would perform a wide range of choral music, from the Renaissance to contemporary works. The ensemble takes its name from the ancient Greek city of Corydon, which was known for its musical traditions. The Corydon Singers is made up of a group of highly skilled and talented singers, many of whom have been with the ensemble for several years.
