Mari Eriksmoen is a Norwegian soprano who has made a name for herself in the world of classical music. Born on May 10, 1982, in Trondheim, Norway, Eriksmoen grew up in a musical family. Her mother was a music teacher, and her father was a conductor. Eriksmoen started singing at a young age and showed a natural talent for music. Eriksmoen studied at the Norwegian Academy of Music in Oslo, where she received her bachelor's degree in 2006. She then went on to study at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Munich, Germany, where she received her master's degree in 2009. During her studies, Eriksmoen received several awards and scholarships, including the prestigious Léonie Sonning Music Prize in 2018. Eriksmoen's career as a professional singer began in 2009 when she made her debut at the Norwegian National Opera in the role of Barbarina in Mozart's "The Marriage of Figaro." One of Eriksmoen's most notable performances was in the role of Zerlina in Mozart's "Don Giovanni" at the Salzburg Festival in 2016.
