Born in 1979 in the city of Toulouse, Marin-Degor showed an early interest in music and began singing at a young age. She studied at the Conservatoire de Toulouse and later at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris, where she trained under the guidance of renowned vocal coaches such as Malcolm Walker and Christiane Eda-Pierre. Marin-Degor made her professional debut in 2003, performing the role of Pamina in Mozart's "The Magic Flute" at the Opéra de Toulon.
