His parents recognized his talent and encouraged him to pursue his passion for music. Prost's musical education began at the Conservatoire de Saint-Etienne, where he studied piano and music theory. He later continued his studies at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris, where he received a degree in piano performance. During his time at the conservatory, Prost studied under renowned pianists such as Jacques Rouvier and Jean-Claude Pennetier. After completing his studies, Prost began his career as a concert pianist, performing in various venues across France and Europe. He quickly gained recognition for his exceptional talent and was invited to perform at prestigious music festivals such as the Festival de la Roque d'Anthéron and the Festival de Radio France et Montpellier. Prost's performances were characterized by his technical proficiency and his ability to convey the emotional depth of the music he played. He was particularly known for his interpretations of the works of Chopin, Liszt, and Debussy, which he performed with great sensitivity and nuance. In addition to his solo performances, Prost also collaborated with other musicians, including violinist Renaud Capuçon and cellist Gautier Capuçon.
