Her performances were marked by a deep emotional intensity and technical precision that captivated audiences and critics alike. One of Ziegler's most significant performances was at the Salzburg Festival in 1972, where she played Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 20 in D minor. Her performance was widely praised, and she received a standing ovation from the audience. This performance marked the beginning of Ziegler's international career, and she went on to perform at some of the world's most prestigious concert halls, including Carnegie Hall in New York and the Royal Albert Hall in London.
