The Twentieth Century Classics Ensemble is a classical music ensemble that was founded in 1990 by conductor and pianist, Robert Black. Robert Black, who serves as the ensemble's artistic director, is a renowned conductor and pianist who has performed with some of the world's leading orchestras and ensembles. He founded the Twentieth Century Classics Ensemble with the goal of creating a platform for contemporary classical music that was accessible to a wider audience. The ensemble's main members include some of the most talented and accomplished musicians in the classical music world. These include violinist Jennifer Koh, cellist Maya Beiser, and percussionist Steven Schick, among others.
