Born on December 22, 1985, in Budapest, Hungary, Gulyás showed an early interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of five. Her parents, who were both music teachers, recognized her talent and encouraged her to pursue a career in music. Gulyás received her first piano lessons from her mother, who taught her the basics of music theory and technique. She quickly showed a natural aptitude for the instrument and began to develop her own unique style of playing. At the age of eight, Gulyás was accepted into the prestigious Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest, where she studied under the guidance of renowned pianist and pedagogue, György Nádor. During her time at the academy, Gulyás honed her skills as a pianist and gained a deep understanding of the classical repertoire. She also had the opportunity to perform in numerous concerts and competitions, both in Hungary and abroad. She made her debut at the Carnegie Hall in New York in 2005, where she received critical acclaim for her performance of Beethoven's Piano Sonata No. 23 in F minor, Op. 57, also known as the "Appassionata". Over the years, Gulyás has continued to perform at major venues and festivals, including the Berlin Philharmonic, the Royal Albert Hall in London, and the Salzburg Festival. She has collaborated with some of the world's leading orchestras, including the Vienna Philharmonic, the London Symphony Orchestra, and the New York Philharmonic.
