Yoann Moulin is a French classical pianist who has gained international recognition for his virtuosic performances and musical interpretations. Born on May 12, 1985, in Paris, France, Moulin showed an early interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of six. He was quickly recognized as a prodigious talent and began studying with renowned piano teachers in France and abroad. Moulin's musical education began at the Conservatoire National de Région de Paris, where he studied with renowned pianist and pedagogue, Jacques Rouvier. He later continued his studies at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris, where he was mentored by the legendary pianist and teacher, Brigitte Engerer. During his time at the conservatory, Moulin won numerous awards and prizes, including the prestigious Prix de Piano and the Prix de Musique de Chambre. After completing his studies in Paris, Moulin continued his musical education in the United States, where he studied with the renowned pianist and teacher, Leon Fleisher, at the Peabody Institute of the Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. During his time at Peabody, Moulin won the prestigious Yale Gordon Concerto Competition, which led to his debut performance with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra.
