Leo Korchin was a renowned classical music artist who was born on January 15, 1929, in Moscow, Russia. He was born into a family of musicians, and his father was a well-known violinist. Korchin showed an interest in music from a young age and began playing the piano at the age of four. He received his first piano lessons from his mother, who was also a pianist. Korchin's talent was evident from an early age, and he began performing in public at the age of six. He made his debut with the Moscow Philharmonic Orchestra at the age of nine, playing Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 23 in A major. This performance was a huge success, and Korchin was hailed as a child prodigy.
