Kristin von der Goltz is a renowned cellist and conductor in the world of classical music. Born in Germany, she began her musical journey at a young age, showing a natural talent for the cello. Her parents, both musicians themselves, recognized her potential and encouraged her to pursue a career in music. Von der Goltz began her formal training at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Hannover, where she studied under the tutelage of renowned cellist and pedagogue, Wolfgang Boettcher. She later continued her studies at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg, Austria, where she received her diploma with distinction. Throughout her career, von der Goltz has performed with some of the most prestigious orchestras and ensembles in the world. She has been a member of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra, the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra, and the Chamber Orchestra of Europe, among others.
