Born in Bern, Switzerland in 1985, Lüthi began playing the violin at the age of four. She showed an early talent for the instrument and began studying with renowned violinist and pedagogue Igor Ozim at the age of 12. Lüthi continued her studies at the Zurich University of the Arts, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music Performance. She then went on to study with Ana Chumachenco at the Munich University of Music and Performing Arts, where she earned a Master of Music in Performance. During her studies, Lüthi won several awards and competitions, including the Swiss Youth Music Competition and the Swiss National Youth Music Competition. After completing her studies, Lüthi began performing as a soloist and chamber musician throughout Europe and Asia. She has performed with orchestras such as the Zurich Chamber Orchestra, the Munich Chamber Orchestra, and the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra. She has also collaborated with renowned musicians such as pianist Lars Vogt and cellist Sol Gabetta. One of Lüthi's most notable performances was her debut with the Zurich Chamber Orchestra in 2010, where she performed Mozart's Violin Concerto No. 5.
