Monica Bacelli is a renowned Italian mezzo-soprano who has made a name for herself in the world of classical music. Born on June 28, 1964, in the city of Florence, Italy, Bacelli grew up in a family of musicians. Her father was a cellist, and her mother was a pianist, which meant that music was always a part of her life from a young age. Bacelli began her musical training at the age of six, studying piano and singing. She later attended the Luigi Cherubini Conservatory in Florence, where she studied voice under the guidance of the renowned soprano, Elisabeth Schwarzkopf.
