His father was a pianist, and his mother was a singer. From a young age, Renzi showed a keen interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of four. Renzi's parents recognized his talent and encouraged him to pursue a career in music. He began taking piano lessons with his father and later studied at the Milan Conservatory. Renzi's talent was evident from an early age, and he quickly became known for his virtuosic playing and musical sensitivity. In 1970, Renzi made his debut as a soloist with the Milan Symphony Orchestra. The performance was a resounding success, and Renzi quickly established himself as one of the most promising young pianists of his generation. Over the next few years, he performed extensively throughout Italy and Europe, earning critical acclaim for his performances of works by Mozart, Beethoven, Chopin, and other great composers. In 1975, Renzi was invited to perform at the prestigious Salzburg Festival in Austria.
