From a young age, Ritt showed a keen interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of five. His parents recognized his talent and encouraged him to pursue his passion for music. Ritt's musical journey began when he enrolled in the Juilliard School of Music in New York City. He studied under the guidance of some of the most renowned music teachers of the time, including Rosina Lhevinne and Adele Marcus. Ritt's dedication and hard work paid off, and he graduated with a Bachelor of Music degree in 1967. After completing his studies, Ritt began his career as a concert pianist. He made his debut performance at the Carnegie Hall in New York City in 1968, which was a huge success. This performance marked the beginning of Ritt's illustrious career as a classical music artist. Over the years, Ritt performed in some of the most prestigious concert halls around the world, including the Royal Albert Hall in London, the Sydney Opera House in Australia, and the Salle Pleyel in Paris.
