Born in Prague, Czech Republic, in 1979, Jitka showed an early interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of five. Jitka's early years were spent studying at the Prague Conservatory, where she received a solid foundation in classical music. She then went on to study at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague, where she honed her skills under the guidance of renowned pianist Ivan Klánský. During her studies, Jitka won several awards and competitions, including the International Beethoven Piano Competition in Vienna and the International Chopin Piano Competition in Marianske Lazne. After completing her studies, Jitka began performing extensively throughout Europe, Asia, and the United States. She quickly gained a reputation as a talented and versatile pianist, capable of playing a wide range of styles and genres. Her performances were praised for their technical precision, emotional depth, and musicality. One of Jitka's most notable performances was at the Prague Spring International Music Festival in 2002. She played Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 4 with the Prague Symphony Orchestra, receiving a standing ovation from the audience.
