Post's musical education began at the Hochschule für Musik "Hanns Eisler" in Berlin, where he studied under the tutelage of Professor Georg Sava. He later continued his studies at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Hamburg, where he studied with Professor Volker Banfield. During his studies, Post won several awards, including the first prize at the International Piano Competition in Senigallia, Italy, in 1996. After completing his studies, Post began his professional career as a concert pianist. He quickly gained recognition for his exceptional talent and was invited to perform at some of the world's most prestigious concert halls, including the Berlin Philharmonic, the Carnegie Hall in New York, and the Royal Albert Hall in London. One of Post's most significant performances was his debut with the Berlin Philharmonic in 2001. He performed Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 5, also known as the "Emperor Concerto," under the baton of Sir Simon Rattle.
