From a young age, Catherine showed a natural talent for music and began playing the violin at the age of four. Catherine's parents recognized her talent and encouraged her to pursue a career in music. She began taking lessons with renowned violinists in France and quickly gained recognition for her exceptional skills. At the age of 12, Catherine won first prize in the prestigious Concours National des Jeunes Violonistes, a national competition for young violinists in France. This early success propelled Catherine's career forward, and she began performing in concerts and recitals throughout France and Europe. She continued to win awards and accolades, including first prize in the International Violin Competition in Paris at the age of 16. Catherine's talent and dedication to her craft led her to study at the Conservatoire de Paris, where she received her diploma with honors. She then went on to study with some of the most renowned violinists in the world, including Maxim Vengerov and Itzhak Perlman. Throughout her career, Catherine has performed with some of the world's most prestigious orchestras, including the London Symphony Orchestra, the Berlin Philharmonic, and the New York Philharmonic. She has also collaborated with some of the most celebrated conductors, including Daniel Barenboim, Sir Simon Rattle, and Zubin Mehta. One of Catherine's most notable performances was her debut at Carnegie Hall in New York City in 2009. She performed the Brahms Violin Concerto with the New York Philharmonic, receiving a standing ovation from the audience and critical acclaim from music critics. Catherine has also been recognized for her recordings, which have received numerous awards and nominations. Her recording of the Beethoven Violin Concerto with the London Symphony Orchestra was nominated for a Grammy Award in 2012. In addition to her performing career, Catherine is also a dedicated teacher. She has taught masterclasses at some of the world's most prestigious music schools, including the Juilliard School in New York City and the Royal Academy of Music in London.
