Genre:ChoralOperaHarry Peeters was born on May 12, 1985, in Amsterdam, Netherlands. He grew up in a family of musicians, with his father being a renowned pianist and his mother a violinist. From a young age, Harry showed a keen interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of four. As a child, Harry was enrolled in a music school where he received formal training in classical piano. He quickly showed a natural talent for the instrument and began performing in local concerts and competitions. By the age of ten, Harry had won several awards and was recognized as a rising star in the classical music world. In 1997, Harry was accepted into the prestigious Amsterdam Conservatory, where he studied under the tutelage of renowned pianist and composer, Jan Wijn. During his time at the conservatory, Harry honed his skills and developed a deep understanding of classical music theory and composition. After graduating from the conservatory in 2001, Harry began performing professionally as a solo pianist. He quickly gained a reputation for his technical prowess and emotional depth, and was soon invited to perform at some of the world's most prestigious concert halls. One of Harry's most notable performances was at the Royal Albert Hall in London in 2005. He performed a solo recital of works by Beethoven, Chopin, and Liszt, which was met with critical acclaim. The following year, Harry was invited to perform at the Carnegie Hall in New York City, where he received a standing ovation for his performance of Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 2. In addition to his solo performances, Harry has also collaborated with some of the world's leading orchestras, including the London Symphony Orchestra, the Berlin Philharmonic, and the New York Philharmonic. He has worked with many renowned conductors, including Sir Simon Rattle, Daniel Barenboim, and Gustavo Dudamel. Throughout his career, Harry has received numerous awards and accolades for his contributions to classical music. In 2010, he was awarded the prestigious Van Cliburn International Piano Competition, which is considered one of the most prestigious piano competitions in the world. He has also been awarded the Chopin Prize, the Liszt Prize, and the Beethoven Prize, among others. Despite his success, Harry remains humble and dedicated to his craft.
