Boris Giltburg is a renowned classical pianist who has gained international recognition for his virtuosic performances and insightful interpretations of classical repertoire. Born in Moscow in 1984, Giltburg began playing the piano at the age of five and quickly showed a natural talent for the instrument. His performance of Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 3 in the final round was hailed as a triumph of virtuosity and musicality, and he was awarded the first prize by a unanimous decision of the jury. Since then, Giltburg has established himself as one of the leading pianists of his generation, performing regularly in major concert halls and festivals around the world. He has collaborated with many of the world's leading orchestras, including the Philharmonia Orchestra, the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra, among others. He is particularly known for his interpretations of the music of Rachmaninoff, whose works he has recorded extensively.
