From a young age, Alexis was exposed to classical music and began playing the piano at the age of four. Alexis showed exceptional talent and dedication to music from a young age. He began performing in public at the age of six and won his first competition at the age of eight. He continued to win numerous competitions throughout his childhood and teenage years, including the prestigious International Piano Competition in Geneva at the age of 16. After completing his studies at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris, Alexis began his professional career as a concert pianist. He quickly gained recognition for his virtuosic performances and his ability to bring out the emotional depth of the music he played. One of Alexis's most notable performances was at the 2008 International Tchaikovsky Competition in Moscow. He performed Tchaikovsky's Piano Concerto No. 1 with the Moscow Philharmonic Orchestra and received a standing ovation from the audience. His performance was praised for its technical brilliance and emotional intensity. Alexis has also performed with many other renowned orchestras, including the London Symphony Orchestra, the Berlin Philharmonic, and the New York Philharmonic. He has collaborated with some of the world's most celebrated conductors, including Valery Gergiev, Daniel Barenboim, and Simon Rattle. In addition to his performances as a soloist, Alexis is also an accomplished chamber musician.
