Genre:ChamberLevon Chilingirian is a renowned classical music artist who has made significant contributions to the world of music. Born in Cyprus in 1948, Chilingirian grew up in a family of musicians. His father was a violinist, and his mother was a pianist. From a young age, Chilingirian showed a keen interest in music and began playing the violin at the age of six. Chilingirian's family moved to London when he was ten years old, and he continued his music education there. He studied at the Royal College of Music and later at the Juilliard School in New York. Chilingirian's talent and dedication to music were evident from an early age, and he quickly established himself as a rising star in the classical music world. In 1971, Chilingirian founded the Chilingirian Quartet, which quickly gained a reputation as one of the finest string quartets in the world. One of the highlights of Chilingirian's career was his performance at the 1983 Proms, where he played the violin solo in Beethoven's Violin Concerto.
