Her performance was well-received, and she quickly established herself as a rising star in the world of opera. Over the next few years, Tinsley performed in various productions across the UK, including the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, and the English National Opera. She also made her debut at the Metropolitan Opera in New York in 1966, where she sang the role of Lady Macbeth in Verdi's "Macbeth." Her performance was highly acclaimed, and she became a regular performer at the Met. Tinsley's repertoire was vast, and she was known for her powerful voice and dramatic stage presence. She was particularly renowned for her performances in the works of Verdi, Wagner, and Strauss.
