The Chamber Orchestra of Lapland is a classical music ensemble based in Rovaniemi, Finland. The orchestra was founded in 1972 by a group of local musicians who shared a passion for classical music and a desire to bring it to the people of Lapland. In its early years, the orchestra was a small ensemble of just a few musicians, but it quickly grew in size and reputation. The orchestra's first major performance was in 1974, when it played at the opening ceremony of the Rovaniemi Art Museum.
