Yago Mahúgo is a renowned classical music artist who has made a significant impact in the world of music. Born on January 15, 1985, in Barcelona, Spain, Mahúgo showed an early interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of six. His parents, who were both music enthusiasts, encouraged him to pursue his passion for music, and he began taking formal lessons at the age of eight. Mahúgo's talent and dedication to music were evident from an early age, and he quickly became a prodigy. He won his first piano competition at the age of ten and went on to win several more competitions throughout his teenage years. His exceptional talent and hard work earned him a scholarship to study at the prestigious Juilliard School in New York City. At Juilliard, Mahúgo studied under the tutelage of renowned pianist and teacher, Emanuel Ax. He also had the opportunity to work with other world-class musicians and composers, including Yo-Yo Ma, Itzhak Perlman, and John Williams. Mahúgo's time at Juilliard was a formative experience that helped him develop his skills as a musician and performer.
