The Marchigiana Philharmonic Orchestra is a classical music ensemble based in the Marche region of Italy. The orchestra was founded in 1994 by a group of musicians who shared a passion for classical music and a desire to create a professional orchestra that could showcase the talents of the region. The founding members of the orchestra included conductor Daniele Callegari, violinist Fabio Bagnoli, and cellist Francesco Dillon. Over the years, the orchestra has grown to include over 60 musicians, many of whom are from the Marche region. The Marchigiana Philharmonic Orchestra has become known for its high-quality performances of classical music, ranging from Baroque to contemporary works. The orchestra has performed in some of the most prestigious concert halls in Italy and abroad, including the Teatro alla Scala in Milan, the Teatro San Carlo in Naples, and the Royal Albert Hall in London. One of the highlights of the orchestra's career was its performance at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin, Italy. The orchestra was selected to perform at the opening ceremony, where they played a piece composed by Ennio Morricone.
