Laura Polverelli is a renowned Italian mezzo-soprano who has made a name for herself in the world of classical music. Born on December 22, 1977, in the city of Bologna, Italy, Polverelli grew up in a family of musicians. Her father was a jazz musician, and her mother was a classical pianist. From a young age, Polverelli was exposed to a wide range of musical genres, which helped her develop a deep appreciation for music. Polverelli began her formal music education at the age of 14 when she enrolled at the Conservatory of Bologna. She studied under the guidance of renowned vocal coaches such as Mirella Freni, Renata Scotto, and Carlo Bergonzi. In 2003, she won the prestigious "Pavarotti Prize" at the International Competition for Opera Singers in Modena, Italy.
