Nicolas Tulliez is a French classical music artist who has made a name for himself as a talented cellist and conductor. Born on May 5, 1985, in Paris, France, Tulliez grew up in a family of musicians. His father was a cellist, and his mother was a pianist. From a young age, Tulliez was exposed to classical music and began playing the cello at the age of four. Tulliez's talent for the cello was evident from an early age, and he quickly became a prodigy. He began performing in public at the age of six and made his debut as a soloist with the Orchestre National de France at the age of nine. Tulliez continued to study the cello throughout his childhood and adolescence, and in 2003, he was accepted into the prestigious Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris. In 2012, Tulliez was appointed principal cellist of the Orchestre National de France, a position he held for three years. In 2014, he was appointed assistant conductor of the Orchestre National de France, and he quickly gained a reputation as a talented and innovative conductor. Tulliez's conducting style was characterized by his attention to detail and his ability to bring out the best in his musicians. In 2016, Tulliez was appointed music director of the Orchestre de Chambre de Paris, a position he still holds today. Under his leadership, the orchestra has gained a reputation for its innovative programming and its commitment to promoting new and emerging composers. Tulliez has also continued to perform as a cellist, and he has collaborated with some of the world's most renowned orchestras, including the Berlin Philharmonic and the London Symphony Orchestra. In 2010, he was awarded the Prix de la Fondation Simone et Cino Del Duca, one of the most prestigious awards in French classical music.
