Role:EnsembleKassiopeia Quintet is a classical music ensemble that was founded in 2008 in Germany. The ensemble consists of five members, all of whom are highly skilled musicians and have a passion for chamber music. The members of the ensemble are Anna-Lena Perenthaler (violin), Lena Sandoz (violin), Annalisa Derossi (viola), Julia Rosenbaum (cello), and Johanna Ruppert (piano). The ensemble's founding members, Anna-Lena Perenthaler and Lena Sandoz, met while studying at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Munich. They quickly discovered a shared love for chamber music and decided to form a quintet. They were soon joined by Annalisa Derossi, Julia Rosenbaum, and Johanna Ruppert, all of whom were also studying at the university. Kassiopeia Quintet has since become one of the most highly regarded chamber music ensembles in Germany. The ensemble has won numerous awards and has performed at some of the most prestigious concert halls in the world. One of the highlights of Kassiopeia Quintet's career was their performance at the 2010 ARD International Music Competition in Munich. The ensemble won first prize in the chamber music category, which helped to launch their career and gain them international recognition. Since then, Kassiopeia Quintet has performed at many of the world's most renowned concert halls, including the Berlin Philharmonic, the Konzerthaus Berlin, the Wigmore Hall in London, and the Carnegie Hall in New York.
