Ingrid Attrot is a renowned classical music artist who has made a significant contribution to the world of music. Born in Vancouver, Canada, in 1955, Attrot grew up in a family that valued music and the arts. Her mother was a pianist, and her father was a music lover who introduced her to classical music at a young age. Attrot began her musical journey by learning the piano at the age of six. However, it was not until she was in her teens that she discovered her true passion for singing. She started taking voice lessons and quickly realized that she had a natural talent for singing. Attrot went on to study music at the University of British Columbia, where she received a Bachelor of Music degree in vocal performance. After completing her studies, Attrot began her professional career as a classical music artist. She quickly gained recognition for her exceptional vocal abilities and was invited to perform at various prestigious events and venues. One of her early highlights was performing as a soloist with the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra in Handel's Messiah. In 1982, she was the winner of the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions, which helped launch her career in the United States.
