She received formal training in piano, violin, and cello. She excelled in all three instruments, but her true passion was the piano. She spent countless hours practicing and perfecting her skills. In 1965, Lieselotte graduated from the Berlin Conservatory of Music with a degree in piano performance. She then went on to study under the tutelage of renowned pianist, Martha Argerich. Under Argerich's guidance, Lieselotte's skills improved significantly, and she gained a deeper understanding of music. Lieselotte's first major performance was in 1968 when she played at the Berlin Philharmonic Hall. She received critical acclaim for her performance, and it marked the beginning of her successful career. Over the next few years, Lieselotte performed at various venues across Europe, including the Royal Albert Hall in London and the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam. In 1972, Lieselotte won the prestigious International Piano Competition in Warsaw, Poland. Her performance of Chopin's Piano Concerto No. 1 impressed the judges, and she was awarded first prize. This was a significant achievement for Lieselotte, and it opened up many doors for her. Lieselotte's career continued to flourish, and she became a sought-after pianist. She performed with some of the world's leading orchestras, including the Berlin Philharmonic, the London Symphony Orchestra, and the New York Philharmonic.
