She grew up in a family of musicians, with her mother being a pianist and her father a cellist. From a young age, Elizabeth showed a natural talent for music and began taking piano lessons at the age of four. As she grew older, Elizabeth's love for music only intensified. She began studying the violin at the age of eight and quickly became proficient in the instrument. Her parents recognized her talent and encouraged her to pursue a career in music. Elizabeth attended the Juilliard School in New York City, where she studied under some of the most renowned violinists in the world. She graduated with honors in 2007 and immediately began performing professionally. One of Elizabeth's first major performances was at Carnegie Hall in 2008. She was the soloist for Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto in D Major, and her performance was met with critical acclaim. The New York Times called her "a rising star in the classical music world." Over the next few years, Elizabeth continued to perform at some of the most prestigious venues in the world, including the Royal Albert Hall in London and the Sydney Opera House in Australia. She also began recording albums, with her first album, "Elizabeth Rich: The Early Years," being released in 2010. In 2012, Elizabeth was awarded the Avery Fisher Career Grant, one of the most prestigious awards in classical music. The award recognizes young musicians who show exceptional talent and promise for the future. Elizabeth was the first violinist to receive the award in over a decade. In 2014, Elizabeth performed at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., as part of the National Symphony Orchestra's season. She was the soloist for Brahms' Violin Concerto in D Major, and her performance was once again met with critical acclaim. In addition to her solo performances, Elizabeth is also a member of several chamber music ensembles. She has performed with the Emerson String Quartet and the Guarneri Quartet, among others. Elizabeth is known for her passionate and emotional performances. She has been praised for her ability to connect with audiences and bring out the beauty and depth of the music she plays. In 2018, Elizabeth released her second album, "Elizabeth Rich: Live at the Royal Albert Hall."
