Marianna Shirinyan is a renowned classical pianist who has captivated audiences around the world with her virtuosic performances and deep musicality. Born in Armenia in 1981, Shirinyan showed an early aptitude for music and began studying piano at the age of six. She quickly demonstrated a natural talent for the instrument, and by the time she was a teenager, she had won several prestigious competitions in her home country. In 1999, Shirinyan moved to Denmark to continue her musical education at the Royal Danish Academy of Music in Copenhagen. There, she studied under the tutelage of renowned pianist and pedagogue Anne Øland, who recognized Shirinyan's exceptional talent and helped her to refine her technique and develop her musical voice. After completing her studies in Denmark, Shirinyan embarked on a successful career as a concert pianist, performing in some of the world's most prestigious concert halls and collaborating with leading orchestras and conductors. In 2006, she was awarded the prestigious Carl Nielsen and Anne Marie Carl-Nielsen Scholarship, which is given to outstanding young musicians in Denmark. She has also been a recipient of the Danish Arts Foundation's prestigious three-year working grant, which is awarded to artists who have demonstrated exceptional talent and promise. Despite her many accomplishments, Shirinyan remains humble and dedicated to her craft. She continues to perform regularly around the world, and is committed to sharing her love of classical music with audiences of all ages and backgrounds.
