He grew up in a family of musicians, with his father being a renowned pianist and his mother a violinist. From a young age, Giannotti showed a natural talent for music and began playing the piano at the age of four. Giannotti's parents recognized his potential and enrolled him in the Conservatorio di Santa Cecilia in Rome, where he studied under the guidance of some of the most renowned piano teachers in Italy. He quickly became known for his technical proficiency and musical sensitivity, and by the age of 12, he had already won several local and national piano competitions. In 2001, Giannotti was awarded a scholarship to study at the prestigious Juilliard School in New York City. There, he continued to hone his skills under the tutelage of some of the world's most renowned pianists, including Emanuel Ax and Yoheved Kaplinsky. During his time at Juilliard, Giannotti won several awards and competitions, including the Gina Bachauer Piano Competition and the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition. After graduating from Juilliard in 2005, Giannotti embarked on a successful career as a concert pianist, performing in some of the world's most prestigious concert halls, including Carnegie Hall, the Berlin Philharmonic, and the Royal Albert Hall in London. He has also collaborated with some of the world's leading orchestras, including the New York Philharmonic, the London Symphony Orchestra, and the Berlin Philharmonic. Giannotti's repertoire is vast and includes works by some of the greatest composers in history, including Bach, Beethoven, Chopin, and Rachmaninoff. He is particularly known for his interpretations of the works of Franz Liszt, and has been praised for his ability to bring out the emotional depth and complexity of Liszt's music.
