She studied under the guidance of renowned pianist and teacher, Jan Wijn. During her time at the conservatory, Margreet honed her skills and developed a deep understanding of classical music. She graduated with honors in 1999, and her talent was recognized by the conservatory, which awarded her the prestigious Prix d'Excellence. After completing her studies, Margreet began performing in various concerts and recitals across Europe. Her performances were well-received, and she quickly gained a reputation as a talented pianist. In 2001, she won the International Piano Competition in Rome, which further cemented her position as a rising star in the world of classical music.
