The Song Company is a renowned Australian classical music ensemble that has been captivating audiences with its unique and innovative performances for over three decades. Founded in 1984 by Roland Peelman, the ensemble has become one of the most respected and sought-after vocal ensembles in the world. One of the highlights of The Song Company's career was its performance at the 1990 Adelaide Festival, where the ensemble presented a program of music by Australian composers. This performance was a significant milestone for the ensemble, as it marked the first time that an Australian vocal ensemble had been invited to perform at the prestigious festival.
