Clara O'Brien was born on May 12, 1985, in Dublin, Ireland. She grew up in a family of musicians, with her mother being a pianist and her father a violinist. From a young age, Clara showed a natural talent for music and began playing the piano at the age of four. As a child, Clara was enrolled in the Royal Irish Academy of Music, where she received formal training in piano performance. She quickly excelled in her studies and began participating in local competitions and recitals. By the age of ten, Clara had won several awards and was recognized as a rising star in the Irish classical music scene. In 1997, Clara was accepted into the prestigious Juilliard School in New York City, where she continued her studies under the tutelage of renowned pianist Yoheved Kaplinsky. During her time at Juilliard, Clara honed her skills as a performer and composer, and began to develop her own unique style of playing. After graduating from Juilliard in 2001, Clara embarked on a successful career as a concert pianist. She quickly gained a reputation for her technical prowess and emotional depth, and was invited to perform at some of the world's most prestigious concert halls, including Carnegie Hall, the Royal Albert Hall, and the Sydney Opera House. One of Clara's most memorable performances took place in 2005, when she was invited to perform at the White House for President George W. Bush and First Lady Laura Bush. Clara played a selection of classical pieces, including works by Beethoven, Chopin, and Liszt, and received a standing ovation from the audience. In addition to her career as a performer, Clara has also made a name for herself as a composer. Her compositions have been performed by orchestras around the world, and she has received numerous awards and accolades for her work. One of Clara's most notable compositions is her Piano Concerto No. 1, which premiered in 2010 with the London Symphony Orchestra.
