Enrico Onofri is a renowned Italian violinist and conductor, known for his exceptional skills in Baroque music. Born on December 6, 1967, in Ravenna, Italy, Onofri grew up in a family of musicians. His father was a violinist, and his mother was a pianist. Onofri started playing the violin at the age of six and showed remarkable talent from an early age. Onofri's musical education began at the Conservatory of Bologna, where he studied with Luigi Rovighi. He later continued his studies with Franco Gulli at the Accademia Chigiana in Siena. Onofri's talent and dedication to music were evident from the start, and he quickly gained recognition as a rising star in the classical music world. In 1987, Onofri joined the renowned Italian early music ensemble, Il Giardino Armonico, as a violinist.
