Robert Truman, who was born in London in 1947, began his musical career as a cellist. He studied at the Royal Academy of Music in London, and later became a member of the London Symphony Orchestra. Consort of London has performed at many prestigious venues around the world, including the Royal Albert Hall in London, the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, and the Lincoln Center in New York.
