The group consists of four members: Peter De Sotto (tenor and violin), Alexander Sevastian (accordion and piano), Colin Maier (oboe and clarinet), and Carina Reeves (cello). The group was founded by Peter De Sotto, who had previously performed with the Canadian Opera Company and the National Ballet of Canada.
