Mikk Üleoja is a renowned classical music artist from Estonia. He was born on August 22, 1987, in Tallinn, Estonia. From a young age, Mikk showed a keen interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of six. His parents recognized his talent and encouraged him to pursue his passion for music. Mikk's musical education began at the Tallinn Music High School, where he studied under the guidance of Professor Ivari Ilja. He later continued his studies at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre, where he received his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in piano performance. During his studies, Mikk participated in numerous competitions and won several awards, including the 1st prize at the Estonian National Piano Competition in 2005 and the 2nd prize at the International Piano Competition in Tallinn in 2006. He has performed in prestigious venues such as the Berlin Philharmonic, the Vienna Konzerthaus, and the Amsterdam Concertgebouw. Mikk has also collaborated with several renowned orchestras, including the Estonian National Symphony Orchestra, the Latvian National Symphony Orchestra, and the Moscow State Symphony Orchestra. One of the highlights of Mikk's career was his performance at the 2010 Chopin Festival in Warsaw, Poland. He was invited to perform at the festival after winning the 1st prize at the International Chopin Piano Competition in Estonia in 2009. Mikk's performance at the festival was highly acclaimed, and he received a standing ovation from the audience. In addition to his performances, Mikk is also a dedicated teacher and has taught piano at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre since 2012.
