From a young age, Wells showed a keen interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of four. Wells received his formal music education at the Royal Academy of Music in London, where he studied under the tutelage of some of the most renowned pianists of the time. He graduated with honors in 2007 and went on to pursue a career as a concert pianist. Wells made his debut performance at the Royal Albert Hall in London in 2008, where he performed Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 5. The performance was met with critical acclaim, and Wells was hailed as a rising star in the classical music world. Over the years, Wells has performed at some of the most prestigious concert halls around the world, including Carnegie Hall in New York, the Sydney Opera House in Australia, and the Berlin Philharmonic in Germany. He has collaborated with some of the most renowned orchestras, including the London Symphony Orchestra, the New York Philharmonic, and the Berlin Philharmonic. One of Wells' most notable performances was his rendition of Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 2 at the Proms in 2012. The performance was broadcast live on BBC Radio 3 and was later released as a CD. The recording received critical acclaim and was nominated for a Grammy Award. Wells has also been the recipient of numerous awards and accolades throughout his career.
