Her father is a pianist and her mother is a violinist, so music was always a part of her life. She started playing the piano at the age of four and began taking lessons from her father. Gina Alice showed exceptional talent from a young age and won her first competition at the age of six. She continued to win numerous competitions throughout her childhood and teenage years, including the Steinway Piano Competition and the Jugend Musiziert Competition.
