She was born on August 22, 1994, in Trier, Germany, to a family of musicians. Her father is a pianist and her mother is a violinist, so music was always a part of her life. She started playing the piano at the age of four and began taking lessons from her father. Gina Alice showed exceptional talent from a young age and won her first competition at the age of six. She continued to win numerous competitions throughout her childhood and teenage years, including the Steinway Piano Competition and the Jugend Musiziert Competition. She also performed in prestigious venues such as the Berlin Philharmonic and the Konzerthaus Berlin. In 2012, Gina Alice was accepted into the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler in Berlin, where she studied with Eldar Nebolsin. She graduated with honors in 2016 and continued her studies at the Universität der Künste Berlin with Klaus Hellwig. During her studies, she won several awards, including the Yamaha Music Foundation of Europe Scholarship and the DAAD Prize for Outstanding Achievements by Foreign Students.
