From a young age, he showed a natural talent for music and began playing the piano at the age of five. His parents recognized his potential and enrolled him in music lessons, where he quickly excelled. As a child, Hinchev participated in numerous music competitions and festivals, winning several awards for his performances. He continued his music education at the National School of Music in Sofia, where he studied under some of the most renowned piano teachers in Bulgaria. In 2003, Hinchev was accepted into the prestigious Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory, where he studied under the tutelage of renowned pianist and professor, Eliso Virsaladze. During his time at the conservatory, Hinchev honed his skills and developed a deep understanding of classical music. After graduating from the conservatory in 2008, Hinchev began performing in concerts and recitals throughout Europe and Asia. He quickly gained a reputation as a talented and passionate pianist, known for his technical skill and emotional depth. One of Hinchev's most notable performances was at the 2010 International Tchaikovsky Competition in Moscow, where he was awarded the third prize. His performance of Tchaikovsky's Piano Concerto No. 1 was praised by the judges and audience alike, cementing his place as one of the most promising young pianists of his generation. In 2012, Hinchev was invited to perform at the prestigious Carnegie Hall in New York City, where he received a standing ovation for his performance of Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 2. The New York Times praised his "virtuosic technique and emotional depth," calling him a "rising star in the world of classical music." Hinchev has also performed with some of the world's most renowned orchestras, including the London Symphony Orchestra, the Berlin Philharmonic, and the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra. He has collaborated with many of the world's leading conductors, including Valery Gergiev, Daniel Barenboim, and Zubin Mehta. In addition to his performances, Hinchev is also a dedicated music educator. In 2015, he was awarded the Order of Stara Planina, one of Bulgaria's highest honors, for his achievements in music.
