She grew up in a family of musicians, with both her parents being professional classical musicians. Her father was a renowned cellist, and her mother was a pianist. Elizabeth was exposed to classical music from a very young age and showed a keen interest in it. Elizabeth started playing the piano when she was just four years old. Her mother was her first teacher, and she quickly showed a natural talent for the instrument. By the time she was six, Elizabeth was already performing in public, and her parents knew that she had a bright future ahead of her. At the age of eight, Elizabeth was accepted into the prestigious Yehudi Menuhin School in Surrey, England. The school is known for its rigorous musical training and has produced many world-class musicians. Elizabeth thrived at the school and quickly became one of its star pupils. During her time at the Yehudi Menuhin School, Elizabeth had the opportunity to work with some of the world's leading musicians. She received coaching from renowned pianists such as András Schiff and Murray Perahia, and she also had the chance to perform with the London Symphony Orchestra. After graduating from the Yehudi Menuhin School, Elizabeth went on to study at the Royal College of Music in London. She continued to excel in her studies and won several awards and prizes, including the prestigious Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother Rose Bowl. In 2007, Elizabeth made her debut at the Wigmore Hall in London, one of the world's most prestigious concert venues. Her performance was met with critical acclaim, and she was hailed as a rising star in the classical music world. Over the years, Elizabeth has performed at some of the world's most renowned concert halls, including Carnegie Hall in New York, the Berlin Philharmonic, and the Royal Albert Hall in London. She has also collaborated with some of the world's leading orchestras, including the London Symphony Orchestra, the Berlin Philharmonic, and the New York Philharmonic. In addition to her solo performances, Elizabeth is also an accomplished chamber musician. She has performed with some of the world's leading chamber ensembles, including the Emerson String Quartet and the Takács Quartet. Elizabeth's repertoire is vast and includes works by some of the greatest composers in history, including Bach, Beethoven, Chopin, and Mozart. She is particularly known for her interpretations of the works of Schubert and Schumann. Throughout her career, Elizabeth has received numerous awards and accolades. In 2010, she was awarded the Royal Philharmonic Society's Young Artist Award, and in 2012, she was named a BBC New Generation Artist. She has also been awarded the prestigious Avery Fisher Career Grant, which is given to outstanding young musicians who show exceptional promise. In addition to her performing career, Elizabeth is also a dedicated teacher. She has taught at the Royal College of Music and the Yehudi Menuhin School, and she is currently a professor of piano at the Juilliard School in New York. Elizabeth is known for her passionate and expressive playing, and her performances are always highly anticipated.
