Michele Mariotti is a renowned Italian conductor who has made a name for himself in the world of classical music. Born on November 28, 1979, in Pesaro, Italy, Mariotti grew up in a family of musicians. His father, Gianfranco Mariotti, was a composer and conductor, while his mother, Maria Grazia Ferracini, was a pianist. From a young age, Mariotti was exposed to the world of music and developed a passion for it. Mariotti began his musical education at the Rossini Conservatory in Pesaro, where he studied piano and composition. He later went on to study conducting at the Accademia Musicale Chigiana in Siena, Italy, under the guidance of Gianluigi Gelmetti.
