Born on December 12, 1976, in Moscow, Russia, Dubrovsky showed an early interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of five. His parents recognized his talent and encouraged him to pursue his passion for music. Dubrovsky's musical education began at the Gnessin School of Music in Moscow, where he studied piano under the guidance of Professor Tatiana Zelikman. He later continued his studies at the Moscow State Conservatory, where he received his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in piano performance. Dubrovsky's repertoire is vast and includes works by some of the greatest composers in history, such as Bach, Beethoven, Chopin, Liszt, and Rachmaninoff. He is particularly known for his interpretations of the works of Rachmaninoff, and his recording of Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 2 with the London Symphony Orchestra received critical acclaim. In addition to his career as a pianist, Dubrovsky is also an accomplished composer and conductor. He has written several works for piano, orchestra, and chamber ensembles, and his compositions have been performed by leading orchestras and ensembles around the world.
