Vladimir Selivokhin was born on May 5, 1985, in Moscow, Russia. He grew up in a family of musicians, with his mother being a pianist and his father a cellist. From a young age, Selivokhin showed a natural talent for music and began studying the violin at the age of five. Selivokhin's early musical education was under the guidance of his mother, who was his first violin teacher. He later went on to study at the Moscow Conservatory, where he was mentored by renowned violinist and pedagogue, Eduard Grach.
