Born on 22nd September 1978 in Sofia, Bulgaria, Dimitar showed an early interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of six. His parents recognized his talent and encouraged him to pursue his passion for music. Dimitar's musical journey began at the National School of Music "Lyubomir Pipkov" in Sofia, where he studied under the guidance of Professor Stella Dimitrova. He later continued his studies at the National Academy of Music "Pancho Vladigerov" in Sofia, where he received his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Piano Performance. During his studies, Dimitar participated in numerous competitions and won several awards, including the First Prize at the National Piano Competition "Svetoslav Obretenov" in 1995 and the Second Prize at the International Piano Competition "Citta di Marsala" in Italy in 1998.
