She grew up in a family of musicians, with her mother being a pianist and her father a cellist. From a young age, Elisabeth showed a keen interest in music and began playing the violin at the age of four. Elisabeth's talent was quickly recognized, and she began performing in public at the age of six. She won her first competition at the age of eight and went on to win several more throughout her childhood. Her parents recognized her potential and enrolled her in the Amsterdam Conservatory, where she studied under the tutelage of renowned violinist Janine Jansen. During her time at the conservatory, Elisabeth honed her skills and developed her own unique style. She was known for her expressive playing and her ability to convey emotion through her music. Her talent did not go unnoticed, and she was soon invited to perform with some of the world's most prestigious orchestras. One of Elisabeth's most memorable performances was at the Royal Concertgebouw in Amsterdam. She was just 18 years old at the time, and her performance was hailed as a triumph.
