Marta Zabaleta is a renowned classical music artist known for her exceptional piano skills and captivating performances. Born on May 22, 1964, in San Sebastian, Spain, Marta showed an early interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of four. Her parents recognized her talent and encouraged her to pursue a career in music. Marta's musical education began at the San Sebastian Conservatory, where she studied under the guidance of renowned pianist Joaquin Soriano. She later continued her studies at the Madrid Royal Conservatory, where she received a degree in piano performance. Marta also studied at the Hochschule für Musik in Vienna, Austria, where she honed her skills under the tutelage of Paul Badura-Skoda. Marta's talent and dedication to music soon caught the attention of the classical music world, and she began performing in major concert halls across Europe and the United States. In 1987, she won the prestigious Maria Canals International Piano Competition in Barcelona, Spain, which helped launch her career as a soloist.
